How We Got Wayward

Wayward Soap Co. started with a simple idea: soap doesn't have to be boring.

What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into an obsession with bold scents. beautiful colors, ridiculous names, and bars of soap with way more personality than they probably need.

We handcraft our soaps in small batches with quality ingredients, irresistible fragrances, and a healthy disregard for behaving ourselves. Every bar is designed to smell amazing, look gorgeous, and hopefully make you laugh before you ever get wet.

Around here, we believe life is serious enough already. Your soap doesn't have to be.

MEET AMBER

THE CHAOS DEPARTMENT.

Fun-loving, rambunctious, and a self-proclaimed hot mess, Amber is the creative chaos behind a whole lot of Wayward’s fuckery.

She’s happiest when she’s making something, laughing way too hard at something inappropriate, or coming up with a soap name that absolutely should not have made it past quality control—but somehow did.

Subtlety isn’t really her thing. Neither is behaving.

She brings the wild ideas, the questionable sense of humor, and the firm belief that life is entirely too short for boring soap.

Basically, TK reads the labels. Amber is the reason we probably need a warning label.

THE RESPONSIBLE ONE.

TK is a Registered Nurse with a serious appreciation for what goes into the products we use every day. Being health-conscious isn't just part of her career- it carries over into the choices she makes at home, too.

She’s the driving force behind our Naked & Wayward line, created around a simple idea: you shouldn’t need a chemistry degree to feel good about what you’re putting on your skin. She pushes us to choose quality ingredients with a purpose, keep the unnecessary crap out, and create products we’re genuinely proud to use ourselves.

Her goal is to encourage people to look beyond pretty packaging and start caring about what’s actually inside it. Naked & Wayward keeps things intentionally simple, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients, essential oils, and naturally derived colorants like clays.

Basically, TK keeps us mindful about what goes into the products.
